The Opportunity We are now inviting applications from a friendly and social F&B Service & Event Expert - Banquet (Casual) to work in our Event team. In this role, you will be responsible to provide our guests with warm and engaging customer service at the hotel. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Set up banquet area/room, ensuring cleanliness and proper set up of furniture/equipment. Inspect and maintain table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness and agreement with group requirements and company standards, and resolve any problems. Document pertinent information in appropriate department logbook.
About You Experience working in a similar position in a luxury hotel or hospitality venue. Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills. Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail. Passion and knowledge about food & beverage products. Excellent communication skills with warm personality both in person and via mail. Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate. Valid DoFoodSafely Certificate. Full working rights in Australia.
