As a Senior Manager of Digital Risk and Risk Analytics in the Risk Consulting sub-service line based in Sydney, you'll be a leader within a dynamic team dedicated to protecting and enhancing digital risk and compliance health of some of the world's leading organisations. You will be at the forefront helping our clients with managing the risks and challenges of a rapidly changing landscape, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, delivering risk-focused data and analytics projects, and identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement to deliver valuable outcomes.
Deliver broad ranging Risk Consulting engagements including enterprise risk management, business processes and controls advisory, ERP advisory (including SAP), programs and project risk management, data governance, resilience and technology-enabled Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions. Lead and direct the delivery of interesting and complex risk engagements, including the execution of assessments of IT processes against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards (e.g., CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act), as well as delivering analytics projects. Manage teams to deliver digital and IT risk engagements in support of Internal Audits – including evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls (e.g. application & IT general controls), as well as enabling the Internal Audit practice to conduct data-driven audits. Mentoring and quality assuring teams, taking accountability for outcomes, delegating and supervising large teams, structuring engagements and engagement economics, designing innovative solutions and managing key elements of the business. Developing and maintaining influential working relationships with clients. Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training EY teams. Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff. Actively identify opportunities to better serve clients, and leading business development initiatives across the Risk Consulting business. Lead the development and roll-out of Risk Consulting solutions, tools, and methodologies within EY and for our clients. What We're Looking For

At least 7-10 years of professional experience in Technology Risk Management and Risk Analytics related roles - ideally significant time at a Big 4 consulting organisation. A passion for emerging technologies and working within a team to advise clients on how to manage technology and digital risks and accelerate performance. A commercial mindset with technical and/or consulting experience in some of the following areas:Governance, Risk and Compliance Controls transformation (incl. controls optimisation) Risk analytics Internal Audit Portfolio, Program and Project Risk Management services ERP transformation, application security and configuration Resilience including physical security, business continuity and crisis management. Regulatory Compliance (e.g., Privacy, SoCI Act, SOX, Spam Act). Other technology risk aspects include Data Governance, Responsible Use of AI, and Third-Party Risk Management will also be well regarded. Experience in leading and delivering complex technology risk projects such as IT General Controls, SOC reporting, SOX. Ability to solve complex business problems by working with large and complex datasets, designing solutions to solve business problems using data, and developing and documenting data solutions and methods. Strong quantitative, analytical and data modelling skills, with proficiency in hands-on data analysis, data preparation, and/or data visualisation and knowledge of tools and techniques for processing data (e.g., SQL, PowerQuery, etc.). Demonstrated experience in leading business opportunity pursuits, developing business cases, and building stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated track record of being successful in winning new business. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow a high-performing team dedicated to excellence in the field of digital risk and risk analytics. Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (e.g., CISA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP). You will impress us with your technical skills, however, it will be your strong communication skills, ability to build and develop relationships and commitment to delivering excellence in client service that will stand you apart.
