Extruder Operator

Our client is a designer and manufacturer of industry-leading food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical tubes and is looking for an Experienced Plastic Extruder / Machine Operator to join their team in the Smithfield area This position will initially be offered on a temporary basis which could lead to a permanent role.
You will be required to work on a AFTERNOON SHIFT working Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11pm Payrate: $ 35.92p.h Your key responsibilities will include: Operating a plastic extruder machine Putting raw materials into machines Performing quality testing and ensuring that all products manufactured meet the required standards Perform daily production plans Labelling products Change machine parts for job changeover Other manufacturing duties as required To be considered for this position, you will have: Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (plastic manufacturing ideal) Packaging and printing experience would be an advantage Familiar with FMCG environment Strong mechanical aptitude skills Strong experience in setting up machines Able to meet deadlines Great communication skills Be committed to a long term opportunity Work well as part of a team Able to follow instructions Willing to learn and have a can do attitude Can stand on your feet for the full shift Have full working rights in Australia with no restrictions on hours you can work per week Can start immediately If you feel you are the right person for this role, please click the apply button NOW!
