The Opportunity
This is an exciting full-time position based in Perth for a motivated individual who has had previous experience with the selection and application of industrial products in the process industry.
This role involves providing valve actuation solutions to our customers involved in Water and Waste Water, Power, Oil & Gas, Mining, Food and Beverage and other Process industries.
The successful applicant will be responsible for all sales related activities in Western Australia and be an integral part of a team where your ideas will be part of future company direction.
The Successful Candidate
If you have relevant work experience or technical engineering qualifications (trade or tertiary), we would like to receive your application.
It will be considered an advantage for you to have a working knowledge or experience with:
Mechanics and control applications Electric circuits In this role, you will conduct your own business development work, lead generation, scheduling and attending meetings face-to-face with a portfolio of clients.
You will need to be prepared to travel state-wide and occasionally interstate.
The role will encompass both commercial and technical sales responsibilities including:
Presenting to customers (End users, consulting engineers and contractors) and understanding their specifications and requirements Providing technical information, product selection and design assistance to consultant engineers and contractors Troubleshooting advice for clients (with support by our field technicians) Attending industry trade shows with other colleagues Develop and maintain brand awareness Identify, develop and maintain key customer accounts Actively follow up all leads provided Confident and have high energy Excellent problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail The ability to work both autonomously and as a highly motivated team player Persistence What's on Offer
