Reporting directly to the Head of External Communications, the External Communications Advisor will be responsible for supporting and delivering the national external communications strategy, ensuring all communications align with the St Vincent's Strategy.
You will develop and execute communications campaigns, assist in the delivery of the St Vincent's Master Brand Strategy, CEO communications and marketing content for social media, web and other external channels.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Full Time position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney (preferred), Brisbane or Melbourne on a hybrid working arrangement.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with proven experience creating and delivering communications plans and large-scale rollouts in fast-paced organisations.

Key responsibilities of the role:
Deliver proactive external communications from all levels of St Vincent's on various platforms and channels, including CEO monthly updates and other communications.
Work with the Head of External Communications, other leaders and stakeholders to support the Always campaign and delivery of the St Vincent's 2030 Strategy.
Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation nationally and work closely with external agencies to ensure an active presence for St Vincent's across all platforms.
Report, monitor and manage metrics and reporting data of external communications activities and awareness to drive changes for continuous improvement.
Develop exceptional communications and campaign plans, and execute communications/project delivery on time and within budget.
Assist the St Vincent's Master Brand Strategy and implementation, guiding design development, ensuring compliance and education of brand use across the organisation.
Things that work for us:
Demonstrated experience delivering high-profile and impactful external communications and campaigns, brand and marketing communications content and effectively strategizing content for social media and web channels.
Proven well-developed experience in a similar role within a large and complex environment, preferably within the Healthcare industry.
Highly developed and demonstrable communications planning, project management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
A positive, flexible and collaborative working attitude, with experience working with cross-functional teams, promoting a safe and collaborative environment, and a focus on continuous growth and improvement.
Tertiary qualifications in Communications or equivalent, with proven experience in communications, media engagement and public relations strategy and support (desirable).
National Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months).
