External Audit is a core area within our organisation where we provide external audit services to a variety of entities, including publicly listed entities, unlisted public and proprietary companies as well as not-for-profit entities.
We are currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified Audit Manager and Assistant Audit Manager to join our well-established Audit and Assurance team in Perth but may also provide assistance in Sydney as required.
Our Requirements Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as Manager Be qualified for CA / CPA or equivalent Have good communication skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients Have proven people management and leadership experience Be technically competent in International Accounting and Auditing standards Be able to control the audit process from planning through to completion Experience in the use of CaseWare Audit software is preferred Supervising engagement team as needed Good time-management skills when conducting multiple audit tasks As an Audit Manager or Assistant Audit Manager, your key duties shall include:
Working closely with Directors / Principals to ensure client work is completed to a high standard. Leading consolidation processes for clients with multiple subsidiaries. Executing audit engagements and investigations and preparing financials statements ensuring key deliverables are met. Reviewing audit work performed by the engagement team. Identifying, managing, and reporting on financial risks. Supervising engagement teams, monitoring, and reporting on staff productivity and effectiveness of the system of internal controls.
