In this role: Your primary focus is to maintain the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators including:
Providing overall management of large scale operational systemsUndertaking systems administration tasks in support of major databases and applicationsProviding level 2/3 support to users and customer management personnel on systems technical issuesRecommending, implementing, installing and maintaining appropriate technology to meet client needsDefining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions and preparing appropriate reportsDetecting, isolating and resolving automated information system problems.What You'll Bring Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, the desire to support mission critical classified programs and Systems Administration experience in any of the following:
UNIX Administration – Solaris and/or LinuxWindows Administration – Client (Win7) and server (2003/2008/2012/2019)Oracle or similar database experience would be advantageousNetApp and SAN administrationVirtual applications – App-V, VSphereAbility to create advertisement, collections and packages within an SCCM environmentPatch management WSUSScripting – Active Perl, PowerShellDue to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a TSPV clearance. Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. In certain circumstances this can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1.
