Expressions of Interest - Maintenance Scheduler / Planner We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Maintenance Schedulers and Planners for a variety of upcoming opportunities.
If you are a highly skilled Darwin resident who is a safety-focused Maintenance Scheduler or Planner, with an Oil & Gas trade background and experience in preventative and corrective maintenance, we want to hear from you.
Maintenance Scheduler Planning, scheduling & optimisation of tasks associated with the Routine Maintenance & Campaign Event/Shutdown functions.
Efficient delivery of the executable 2-week maintenance schedules.
Development of the mid-long range plans out to a 3 month forecast, as an input to the Integrated Activity Plan (IAP).
Liaising with maintenance/engineering, operations, vendors, contractors, other planners, and support functions such as logistics and materials.
Upholding and ensuring compliance to all Environment, Health & Safety management systems and contribute to a strong EHS culture.
Key skills & experience Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline, or equivalent.
5+ years planning/scheduling experience in a similar hydrocarbon facility or related industry workplace.
Skilled in the use of Computerised Management Maintenance Systems (SAP Preferred).
Experience using the following: Prometheus (preferred), Primavera P6, MS Excel, MS Project.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and excellent presentation skills with a strong focus on safety, production, technical integrity, and budget.
Maintenance Planner Interface across multiple groups including engineering, purchasing and supply, planning and scheduling, and onsite supervision.
Provide accurate estimates for execution resource requirements to provide robust schedules and manning profiles.
Responsible for initial screening of incoming preventative and corrective work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning.
Identify specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the execution of the proposed work and ensure that all aspects of the existing company safety policy are incorporated into the job plan.
Ensuring work order planning quality for field execution which includes adding parts, resources, and documentation to be able to execute safely & efficiently and in line with planning system requirements.
Ensuring Work orders are planned in line with business guidelines and deliverables.
Assist the business to drive continuous improvement on existing preventative maintenance strategies and maintaining the asset management system and implementing best practices across all assets.
Key skills & experience: Instrument and Electrical Trade with at least 5 years maintenance experience.
A good understanding of maintenance practices and processes.
Skilled in the use of Computerised Management Maintenance Systems (SAP Preferred).
Proficiency in MS Excel software.
Capable in the use of other MS Office software.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities to deliver scopes.
