The Catholic Schools Office of Maitland-Newcastle invites applications for casual teaching positions within the Manning region.

We are seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to join our team on a casual basis in the Manning region.

If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted to complete the pre-screening process, which includes NESA registration, Working with Children Check, National Criminal Check, and other requirements.
Upon successful completion and approval, you will receive a casual employment contract, allowing you to engage with our schools through ClassCover.
If you have previously worked with the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, please note that you will still need to undergo pre-screening.

Desired Skills and ExperienceCommitment to Catholic Education: Demonstrate a clear understanding and personal commitment to Catholic Education, actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school.Program Planning and Assessment: Ability to plan and prepare contemporary teaching programs and assessments that meet diverse student needs and learning styles, promoting their attainment of potential.Utilisation of Data: Demonstrated ability to effectively use assessment and school data to enhance educational outcomes.Collaborative Work: Proven experience working collaboratively with school staff and the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational goals.Innovation and Improvement: Show an innovative and agile mindset that contributes to a culture of continuous improvement within the school environment.Qualifications Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher.Active NESA Accreditation.Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.Completion of anaphylaxis training.Applications close: Sunday, 13th October 2024, at 11:59pm.
