Beca HunterH2O is the Australian water business of one of Asia Pacific's largest independent advisory, design and engineering consultancies, Beca.
We are a collaborative team of 400 water sector specialists, who are passionate about delivering technically excellent projects that help build healthy communities and sustainable outcomes throughout urban and regional Australia.
We are currently experiencing growth across our water business and are looking to expand our team.
In particular, we are looking for talented water industry professionals to join in our long-term partnership with Icon Water.
Icon Water is a leading water utility who provides water and wastewater services across the Australian Capital Territory.
It has developed an inspired vision to create safe, sustainable, affordable and innovative water solutions that will support a significant period of infrastructure growth and renewal over the next decade.
This diverse program encompasses water, sewer, stormwater, dams, network and treatment infrastructure.
To bring this vision to life, Icon Water has decided to establish a Professional Engineering Services Agreement (PESA), which is a collaborative contract with a single services provider, to provide strategic planning, asset management, design / engineering, project management and related infrastructure services for a period of 6-10 years.
As part of a Joint Venture named Team Ignite, Beca HunterH2O is thrilled to have been selected as Icon Water's partner under the PESA!
This represents a significant opportunity to work and professionally develop in a collaborative environment on rewarding projects in our nation's capital.
We are growing our team and are seeking expressions of interest from degree-qualified professionals at junior, intermediate and senior levels who have backgrounds in: Strategic planning & asset management Design and engineering (all disciplines) Program & project management or Other related technical or infrastructure advisory capabilities.
In addition to bringing talent within these technical areas of expertise, we are ideally seeking candidates who: Are based in, or willing to move to, Canberra (to enable working together in co-located projects with Icon Water and our Team Ignite) Have excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder relationship development skills, and Share our values and a passion for technical excellence, environmental sustainability, public health, and community outcomes in the water industry.
