Volunteering Program with LHG We currently have over 200 passionate volunteers who are integral to enhancing the care and support we provide our customers. As a volunteer at Lutheran Homes Group, you will have the opportunity to engage with our residents and provide valuable support. No matter what skills you possess, there is a place for you here. Volunteering with Lutheran Homes Group offers a diverse range of opportunities that cater to various interests including: Assisting the Lifestyle, Catering, Resident Services, and Palliative Care Support teams Supporting residents in recreational activities, shopping trips, lunchtime meals, concerts, special events, and much more Serving as a shop assistant and provide a friendly and helpful presence to residents and visitors Engaging in craft sessions, bringing creativity and joy to our residents' lives Assisting with bus trips and driving, enabling our residents to enjoy time out in the community Sharing your musical talents by playing music for our residents Participating in reminiscing groups, fostering connections and meaningful conversations Getting involved with games and activities Supporting our residents during church services, offering spiritual companionship Assisting during meal times Making social visits, spending quality time with our residents and brightening their day About you Our volunteers embody our corporate values of Positivity, Integrity, Enthusiasm and Respect.
