This role is responsible for:Undertaking duties relating to maintenance and construction projects that enhance or modify parks, sporting facilities, public open spaces, reserves, cemeteries, streets and Shire ablutions;Participating in roadside preparation and maintenance including tree planting, litter removal, trimming, whipper snipping, and storm clean-up;Performing gardening duties including mowing, fertilising, planting, pruning, edging, reticulation maintenance, and weed control;Operating fleet including truck/trailer and plant equipment to carry out maintenance requirements;Maintaining plant and equipment log books and completing end of day checks;Ensuring that tools, machinery, equipment, and workshop are maintained to a high standard;Attending and participating in team meetings and required training;Following organisational specific procedures and processes;Contributing to team planning and maintaining strong work productivity;Utilising initiative to solve routine problems and improve efficiency.A Certificate III in Civil Construction/Horticulture, current Blue/White Construction Safety Card, and unrestricted WA 'HR' Class Driver's Licence are essential for this role, along with demonstrated experience in the safe operation and user maintenance of equipment.
