The Role We are seeking an Experienced Service Crew Operator to join our Mining Team who has the ability and demonstrated experience to perform a variety of underground mining operational functions safely and productively.
This role is a Residential role offered on a 7/7 Rotating Day/Night Roster.
Key Responsibilities Repair and install various mine services including ventilation ducting, air & water pipelines, dewatering pump lines and firing linesInstallation of secondary ventilation fansManually install and grout cable bolts and plate and tension cablesTransportation and delivery of underground mining consumables to assist in mine production and development activitiesOperating Integrated Tool Carriers and Flatbed TrucksDangerous goods handling, and magazine keeping highly desirableMaintenance of equipment to desired standards at all timesActively participate and contribute to Job Hazard analysis and mine safety procedures at all timesAny additional tasks as directed by your supervisorAbout you A minimum of two year's previous experience working as part of a Service Crew in underground miningThe ability to manage effective use of resources including own time in support of the delivery of the Mine PlanMotivated, reliable with strong work ethicsSecurity Clearance (UHL)Working at Heights competency desirableStrong commitment to safety and risk managementExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsThe ability to show Initiative, resilience and problem-solving capabilitiesOur recruitment process measures your alignment to our company values and the requirements of the role.
