About the Unit The Yara Pilbara Fertilisers' plant is one of the largest ammonia production sites in the world and we have also taken the ammonia process further downstream with the Yara Pilbara Nitrates Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) plant, a joint venture with Orica. We are looking to engage with a range of candidates who have experience within the ammonia, energy, gas, oil, petrochemical, or similar other heavy industries, who are interested in roles such as: - Mechanical/Maintenance Technicians : provides mechanical support services to Yara Pilbara Fertilisers (YPF) and Yara Pilbara Nitrates (YPN) manufacturing plants under the direction of the Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator. Minimum requirement is a TAFE/ CERT III or IV equivalent or Diploma in mechanical engineering, ideal candidates will possess 5-10 years of experience in a similar industry. - Mechanical Engineers (Rotating or Static) : ensures the availability and safe optimum operation of Rotating or Static Equipment assets at Yara Pilbara. Supports Operations in ensuring Yara operates its resources in the most safe, efficient and reliable way, providing troubleshooting and general support in the area of Rotating or Static Machinery Engineering . Minimum requirement is a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and +5 years of experience in a similar industry.
