ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Laundry Assistant, you will ensure laundry and linen services are of a high standard and quality for our residents. You must have the ability to safely engage in manual labour tasks and heavy lifting when required.
Responsibilities include: Collecting, washing, folding, ironing, labelling, and returning residents' personal clothing on a daily basis.Maintaining a high standard of personal and operational hygiene at all times.Identifying and reporting any equipment/operational failure issues.Ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with infection control and WHS requirements.KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Current Australian Drivers LicenceWorking rights within AustraliaNational Police Clearance less than 6 months old or NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent Influenza Statement and Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable)Ability to move and lift heavy loads, conduct physical/hands-on work, and repetitive movements of the bodyDemonstrated knowledge of fire and safety processes and manual handling guidelinesAbility to operate in a team environment.WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?
