The opportunity: As a HR Waste Truck Driver in the City of Perth, you will:
Operate and drive a waste collection truck and compactor that has three axles.Empty refuse and recycling bins, as well as street litter bins.Handle cleaning equipment including road and footpath sweepers, hand blowers, and high-pressure cleaning equipment.Ensure safe and compliant work practices in accordance with Western Australian Work Health and Safety legislation, as well as the City's safe systems of work.Above all, you will live our values of commitment, teamwork, courage, and respect that allow us to come together to lead and support the community.

The HR Waste Truck Driver role undertakes refuse removal services and street cleaning that complies with the City's specified work standards.
These services are provided to both residential and commercial customers, through day shift and night shift arrangements.
Equally important to handling a heavy rigid waste truck is an ability to operate as part of a team and provide high-quality customer service to residents and members of the public, including tourists, shopkeepers, and visitors.
