Expression of interest - Fitter MachinistDevelop your career with a rapidly growing National business.Make your mark within a supportive, team-based culture.About the OpportunityDue to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Fitter Machinist to join our high performing team in Mackay QLD.Your responsibilities in this role will include:Operating on CNC machines and manual lathes and milling machines.Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications.Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components.Cleaning and preparing components.Assemble of cylinders.Attend and participate in toolbox talks.Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained.About YouTo be considered for this role, you must possess:Relevant Trade Qualifications (Fitter and Machinist).Experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders (desirable but not essential).Solid understanding of clearances and tolerances for machined items.Understanding of the re-manufacture process including machining and welding.Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and work with others or individually.Experience with fault finding and diagnostics is advantageous.Willingness to work safely and learn new skills.What's in it for you?This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to forge a rewarding and secure career with a reputable company.
