Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Delivering best practice design management within a fast-paced design and engineering consultancy environment.Managing the delivery of technically excellent designs that meet our clients' expectations, project financial, scope, project risk and schedule outcomes.Supporting the development of strong design management capability across the region through supervision, training, and mentoring of staff.Supporting project managers, leadership, and technical leaders in the delivery of technically excellent outcomes that benefit our client's business objectives.Management of design projects including resource scheduling, project budget control and risk mitigation.Assisting project managers in the delivery of commercially successful projects that achieve GHD financial objectives, and our contract obligations, including effective change and risk management.Supporting business development efforts to secure new projects in alignment with the Region strategy and develop trusted advisor relationships with clients.What would you bring to the team? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar.Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project design teams.Minimum of 10 years' experience and capability in design management across any or a combination of the following markets:TransportWaterEnergy and ResourcesProperty and BuildingsDefencePassion for the design management process and ability to maintain design creativity while influencing project team communication, quality, safety, timeliness and commercial performance in design delivery.Knowledge and involvement in current digital design processes such as the use of BIM is desirable.Interested?
