About the roleAs a Senior Mechanic, you'll be performing maintenance, repairs, and routine inspections on our e-scooter fleet.
This is a hands-on role best suited for those who enjoy technical challenges, appreciate variety in their work, and are committed to safety and quality.
Role ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on e-scooters and e-bikesConduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure all units meet safety and performance standardsTroubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable solutionsDocument completed work and maintain accurate service recordsCollaborate with the broader operations team to ensure timely deployment of serviced vehiclesRole Requirements1-3 years of experience working with light vehicles (e.g., cars, motor scooters, motorcycles) or electrical systemsFormal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical TechnologyStrong problem-solving and diagnostic skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workA valid driver's licenceAbility to regularly lift, carry, and manoeuvre items weighing 28-35 kgA suitable smartphone (2018 or newer Apple or Android device) for on-the-job tasksPay Rate: We offer a starting hourly rate of AUD $33-38 per hour, plus uncapped incentives based on your performance and productivity, which can be 10% - 30%+ bonuses for strong performing mechanics.
