Working closely with our Head of Animation, Animation Supervisors and fellow Animators, you will be responsible for creating believable animation with convincing performances and motion. You will have the ability to complete digi-double, creature, character or rigid body animation. Delivering work to strict deadlines, you will be aware of project schedules and work hard to achieve these goals, and produce content within the framework of the DNEG pipeline.
Junior Animator
Must HaveAt least 1 years of CG experience, within live-action high-end VFX feature films or TVAbility to perform visual and analytical problem-solving in 3-dimensional space, including the ability to accurately interpret 3D layouts and analyse 3D formThorough knowledge of MayaExperienced animating realistic, physical movements over character and stylised performance piecesAbility to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasksAbility to animate realistic movementsShowreel showcasing high-end VFX animation work with an outstanding creature or animation work, weight, detail work, and reference study, as well as 4 legged creature work, and timings and animation that is not just character workAbility to take feedback and address notes efficientlyCommitment to learning and improving skillsNice to HaveExperience shooting own reference material, or working with live action references
Mid Animator
Must Have3+ years CG animation experience within live-action Creature and VFX feature films, or high-end TV featuring creatures and 4-legged workAbility to perform visual and analytical problem-solving in 3-dimensional space, including the ability to accurately interpret 3D layouts and analyse 3D formAbility to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasksThorough knowledge of MayaShowreel showcasing exceptional, highly detailed, high-end live action VFX animation work including creatures and detailed high level performance showing instances of flying, bipedal, vehicle animation and use of motion captureSenior Animator
