About The Opportunity:Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where detail matters? Are you passionate about exceptional customer service?
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Sunshine, Melbourne. In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers worldwide, efficiently and smoothly. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, you will work closely with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to provide exceptional operational service.
We will count on you to:Manage and review requirement plans for raw materials.Manage the export process from start to finish.Use the most appropriate method of communication when the first point of contact being for all ICD customers.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers to develop more business opportunities.Liaise with ICD customers to obtain information to ensure correct measures are in place and all customer needs are met.Liaise with Customers, Custom and Operations' Departments ensuring all documents are received within the designated time frame.Obtain all necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met.Liaise between Suppliers, Forwarders and agents to obtain up to date shipment information.Ensure customers are fully informed of the progress of their shipments.Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.Ensure correct documentation is on file and act accordingly as set out in the instructions.Cover the import operations when required.Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.What you need to have:Proven experience in freight-forwarding/logistics.Strong customer-service background.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Resilient, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.Quality-oriented with a drive for results.Confident and organised team player.What We Can Offer:Being a Global company, we have a suite of benefits we can offer than your standard permanent role and job stability:
