Boasting the largest team of highly respected and experienced Explosive Ordnance (EO) acquisition personnel, our consultants work in close partnership with our clients and are embedded within a vibrant team, working on multi-million dollar projects that are at the cutting edge of innovation in Defence munitions and the creation of sovereign defence capability.
In this role you will be working with our client to deliver engineering activities as required under the GWEO Delivery Division Engineering Management Plan (GWEOG-DD-PLN-ENG-110) and referenced documents in the associated Engineering Management System, where you will directly contribute to the establishment and ongoing assurance of Technical Integrity of all materiel related to the project.
Deliverables/outputs under this scope of work may include: Registration Technical InformationConduct of Technical Information ReviewPlanning Engineering ActivitiesPreparation and support to Configuration Control BoardsPlanning of Certification activitiesDevelopment of engineering artefactsIncorporation of changes to engineering artefacts based on engineering reviewConduct engineering analysis such as:failure mode analysis and hazard identificationcharacterise / communicate risk and propose effective mitigations using the hierarchy of controlsUpdate and upkeep of product configuration baselinesOur preferred candidate will demonstrate knowledge, skills & experience in the following: Previously held a delegation of Engineer or higher under either MEOSPO, AEOSPO or LEOSPO with supporting evidenceSpecialist training in explosives ordnanceExperience producing design documents and specialist engineering reportsExperience producing contract documentation, plans and reportsQualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field and with specialist training in guided weapons engineeringPrevious explosive ordnance certification experience aligned with the requirements of AOP 15.Due to the nature of these roles, applicants must hold an NV1 Australian Defence security clearance.
