Our Client is a specialist provider of Managed Contractors and Consulting Solutions to the Mining and Infrastructure Industries. An employer of choice, our client employs Project Managers and Geologists, Exploration Geologists, and Support Staff across Eastern Australia in all commodities.
We are seeking Geologist specialists to work for our client at their exploration sites in QLD. These positions are for an immediate start in an ongoing capacity.
Hiring criteria:Current Std11 Mining Induction and Coal Board Medical/Pre Employment MedicalValid Australian (Open) Driver's LicenseExperience in Mining Surface gas Drainage for UG required.Degree in Geology or GeoscienceMinimum 1-2 years recent experience in a similar roleDemonstrated experience of geological practice in the Field Exploration environmentAbility to optimize drilling programmes prior to & during implementationExperience of compiling details including available lithological informationAbility to complete lithological and geotechnical logging of coreExploration and Project Planning experienceExcellent communication skills and ability to develop strong organisation and time management skillsPerform as a team player and have a "can do" attitudeIn return we offer:Immediate start | Ongoing positionsFIFO Roster ex Brisbane4WD Work Vehicle Provided.
