Our clients Data and Strategy Governance Branch is seeking four experienced Senior Data Management/Governance Officers. We need experts with a solid background in data governance, agile project management, and policy analysis who can help us drive impactful data governance initiatives within our organisation. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality data governance to support projects and data stewards in applying data governance frameworks and policies. Register and manage data asset and data exchange records. Maintain and manage customer information control plans and data stewardship registers. Oversee the implementation of the Indigenous Data governance plan. Identify and manage data-related risks, including trust and ethics assessments of data initiatives. Develop, implement, and maintain data governance documents to improve best practices. Provide tools, templates, and guidance to data stewards and users to ensure consistent application of data governance protocols. About You:
You bring a wealth of experience in data management and governance. Strong skills in agile project management and policy analysis. Excellent policy interpretation and writing skills. Ability to work under limited direction, exercise sound judgement, and handle competing priorities effectively.
