We are seeking an experienced Report Developer & Support Specialist to join a high-impact team supporting advanced data visualisation, GIS capabilities, and operational reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical ICT capabilities across multiple security domains, utilizing cutting-edge tools and technologies.

About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex reports and supporting operational capabilities using SQL Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services, and other related tools.
You will work closely with business users to gather reporting requirements and ensure the smooth operation of GIS and data-driven applications.

Key responsibilities include:
Report Development & Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and enhance a suite of complex reports to support ICT capabilities across various security domains.
Data & System Support: Provide support for data-driven applications, including problem investigation, rectification, and maintaining data standards and templates.
Business Intelligence & GIS Support: Perform analysis for business intelligence activities and support operational capabilities using ArcGIS and other GIS tools, including supporting systems like the Australian Maritime Identification System (AMIS) and Situational Awareness Dashboards.
Report Distribution & Documentation: Manage and maintain report distribution using application stores, and produce technical and procedural documentation, including configuration management of map services and metadata.
Upgrade & Patching: Plan and implement system upgrades and patching schedules, ensuring continuous improvement and capability uplift.
On-Call Support: As part of a 24x7 support team, provide out-of-hours support on a rostered basis, responding within 30 minutes for out-of-hours incidents.
Knowledge Transfer & Compliance: Transfer knowledge to staff, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with recordkeeping policies and professional standards.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong experience in SQL Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services, and related tools.
Expertise in GIS technologies, such as ArcGIS, and data visualisation applications.
Experience in developing and maintaining complex reports and providing support for data-driven systems.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to liaise with business users and gather requirements.
Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment, with on-call responsibilities as needed.
Strong skills in documentation, technical support, and system troubleshooting.
