Job Title: StablehandMcEvoy Mitchell Racing is a leading Thoroughbred Racing Stable with state-of-the-art facilities in Ballarat, Victoria. We are currently seeking a full-time Stablehand for our morning crew located at our Ballarat stables.
Daily duties of the morning team (5:00am – 12:00pm Monday to Saturday, no split shifts) include:
All aspects of horse husbandryDaily exercising, swimming & treadmill operationsEfficient saddling for trackworkRace meeting and trial attendanceSundays are worked on a one in three roster. The successful candidates will enjoy above award rates commensurate to their experience.
