Two roles are available at Vital Health Queensland, one in Roma, and one in Charleville; with salary packages ranging between $110K - $145K nominating competitive superannuation, professional development and relocation benefits.

Who are we? Vital Health is a leading multi-disciplinary Allied Health organisation on a mission to improve health access to rural, remote, and indigenous communities. Our intrepid team have made a difference for over 30 years, across a vast 3000km of QLD & NSW and have helped countless clients achieve their goals along the way. In 2021, we opened Vital Paediatrics in Roma QLD so that infants & children of our communities might have access to therapy and resources that are specifically designed for them. What sets the role apart? Join a fun, friendly and supportive speech therapy and paediatrics team who are passionate about rural, remote and indigenous health. Develop your skills in your interest area and contribute to service development, as a step towards being a leader in your area of interest. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Physiotherapists, and Allied Health Assistants to achieve your clients' goals. Attend regular multi-disciplinary case-conferences for complex clients. Work in a multitude of work environments – in fully resourced paediatrics clinic, in community and aboriginal health-care centres, and in your clients' homes to achieve a holistic outcome. Receive renumeration to match your experience, and additional allowances to support relocation and initial rental costs. Bonus scheme available for clinical excellence. Attend Internal Professional Development weekends away – we take river cruises, visit vineyards, & benefit from the teachings of external national leaders in Speech Pathology. Feel supported by a team of Admin & NDIS support. FIFO/DIDO options considered. Who are you? You have a fun & friendly nature and are keen to be part of a dynamic team who are passionate about what they do. You have experience in and/or further qualifications in orofacial myofunctional therapy, infant therapy, paediatric feeding, sleep disordered breathing and speech sound disorders. You want to use your skills to support rural, remote and indigenous communities; and grow your breadth of client experiences. You enjoy challenging yourself and the idea of taking on complex multi-disciplinary clients excites you. You are looking for an organisation that prioritises support, PD & team culture. You have confidence in clinical decision making & problem solving in paediatric therapy. You are adventurous and willing to take day trips to our small outreach towns. You have formal qualifications in Speech Pathology, SPA certification and full legal rights of working in Australia. Why choose to live out here?
