Overview of the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PAE to join this team as an independent contractor. The successful candidate will manage their own client base and handle an overflow of work from the principal solicitor. This role offers flexibility in terms of working hours and the option to work from home. You will be responsible for attending networking events to solicit new work and contribute to the firm's growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven solicitor looking for independence and growth within a supportive framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow your own client base
Handle overflow work in property, family law, wills, and estates
Attend networking events and service clubs to solicit new work
Maintain your own invoicing and fee recovery
Work on a percentage of actual costs recovered
Overview of the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned solicitor with a strong network and the ability to work independently. They should be proactive, client-focused, and motivated to grow their own practice while contributing to the success of the firm.
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years PAE with experience in property, family law, wills, and estates
Established client base and network
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Contractor role working on a percentage of actual costs recovered
Based on the Gold Coast
Desirable Qualifications:
Additional qualifications such as a migration agent
Willingness to train and supervise other staff
Interest in golf
Not Negotiable:
Attend to own invoicing and recovery of fees
Independent business trading on our client's licence (no joint ventures)
Commitment to soliciting work and attending networking events
Full-time commitment (no part-time arrangements)
Flexible work hours with a 2-year commitment
