Experienced Part-Time Paralegal - Family And Criminal Law

We are seeking an experienced part-time (minimum 16 hours per week) Paralegal to support a busy Sole Practitioner.You will join a small hard-working team of professionals providing outstanding client-focused legal services in Family and Criminal law matters.Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Prepare, file and serve court documents and correspondence;Written and verbal liaising with clients and potential clients;File management (paper and digital);Legal Aid GOL;Billing and invoicing;Appointment scheduling; andManagement of drug testing schedules.To be considered for the job you will need to demonstrate:At least three years Family Law experience and/or Criminal Law experience (preferably both);Experience with Legal Aid forms and processesExceptional, professional written and verbal communication skills;The ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail; andThe ability to work under pressure with confidentiality, integrity, and empathy.Please ensure your cover letter addresses the above required responsibilities and skills.We look forward to hearing from you.
