Protech are currently hiring Experienced Mining Operators to join our client, Middlemount Coal.
Middlemount Coal operates as a joint venture between Peabody Energy and Yancoal.
Situated about 90 kilometres northeast of Emerald and just 7 kilometres west of Middlemount township in Queensland's Bowen Basin, Middlemount is an open-cut mine.

Your responsibilities include collaborating with your team and the wider site to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality results.
To qualify for these roles, you are required to have the following: Suitable candidates must have a minimum 12 month's experience in open-cut production mining operating relevant machinery.
Trucks - CAT 789, 793, 797 or the equivalent models Dozers - (D10,11) & Graders (16/24M/H) Excavators - LIB 994, 996 or the equivalent models Valid Drivers Licence; A skills list signed by SSE or evidence of proficiency in relevant machinery Standard 11 Certificate (willing to obtain) HA - Coal Board Medical (willing to obtain).
