From 26 offices in 15 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.Our team is growing, and we are currently recruiting for an Experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Perth office.About the roleContribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.Deliver best practice technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and standards.Prepare plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.Familiar with standard discipline deliverables and work processes on projects.Demonstrate initiative and basic leadership skills to give direction within a small work group.Deliver superior quality designs and deliverables that meet the technical schedule and budget requirements.Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation, and with clients.Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours).Monitor and remain within assigned budget and alert supervisor if the budget estimate will be exceeded.About youDegree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.3 – 5 years' post grad experience.Strong experience in engineering consulting (Minerals Processing) and EPC/EPCM projects in the mining and resources sectors.Design experience using S3D, HELIX, Rocky, Autopipe, PSFF, Hammer, etc. highly regarded.Project and/or site experience highly regarded.Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and ASME.Strong problem-solving and organisation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.Why Ausenco?Career advancement - Be supported in your ongoing development with technical training, mentoring programs, and frequent networking opportunities.Work Life Balance – Be empowered to enjoy your life outside of the office with flexible working hours, work from home arrangements, and modern leave policies including paid parental leave and floating public holiday programs.Holistic approach to wellness – Take a proactive approach to your overall wellbeing.
