About the Role:This position is responsible for operating Capral Aluminium's Hydraulic Extrusion Press and associated equipment, ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards are achieved.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate Extrusion Press and perform tasks in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures Ensure product quality and productivity standards are maintained to achieve customer delivery targets Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E) Work constructively with colleagues to build a supportive, positive culture with continuous improvement ESSENTIAL Understanding of safety principles Maintain a high level of activity across all shifts Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment Understanding of quality principles Computer literacy DESIRABLE 2 years previous experience with automated machinery Ability to identify and help resolve problems Forklift license Applicants must also be prepared to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.
