Our work will take you in different directions. We're looking for an experienced Driver to join our high-performing New Building Solutions, Major Projects Team in Melbourne, Victoria. This role will generally start at 7am and finish at 3:30pm. No two days are the same as you transport the materials and goods to and from designated site locations, with strict adherence to road safety, maintaining the speed limit, and vehicle logbook and maintenance service logs.
What will you be doing? Transporting materials and tools to designated drop-off locations around MelbourneObtaining, inspecting, and signing for goods at their designated pick-up locationsMaintaining accurate records regarding the receipt and delivery of goods and/or peoplePerforming routine maintenance on delivery vehicle or scheduling itMaintaining log book on mileage, date, location, and timesCarrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality, and safety standardsNotifying your Line Manager of unfulfilled deliveriesWorking to actively maintain customer relationships in the local regionWhat are we looking for? Construction background as a Delivery driver preferredVictorian Drivers Licence and MR licence requiredForklift licence preferredUnderstanding of road safety and speed limit adherenceCommitment to working safely with a strong focus on qualityExcellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamWorks well in a team and a willingness to learnThere's so much more to KONE than you may realise.
