Our work will take you in different directions. We're looking for an experienced Driver to join our high-performing New Building Solutions, Major Projects Team in Melbourne, Victoria. This role will start generally at 7am-3.30pm. No two days are the same as you transport materials and goods to and from designated site locations, with strict adherence to road safety, maintaining speed limits, and vehicle logbook and maintenance service logs.
What will you be doing? Transporting materials and tools to designated drop-off locations around MelbourneObtaining, inspecting, and signing for goods at their designated pick-up locationsMaintaining accurate records regarding the receipt and delivery of goods and/or peoplePerforming routine maintenance on the delivery vehicle or scheduling itMaintaining a logbook on mileage, date, location, and timesCarrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures, including health, quality, and safety standardsNotifying your Line Manager of unfulfilled deliveriesWorking to actively maintain customer relationships in the local regionWhat are we looking for? Construction background as a Delivery Driver preferredVictorian Driver's Licence and MR licence requiredForklift licence preferredUnderstanding of road safety and speed limit adherenceAbility to keep and record mileage and repair records for the vehicleCommitment to working safely with a strong focus on qualityExcellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamWillingness to learn and work well in a teamThere's so much more to KONE than you may realise.
