We are currently looking to expand our team with a positive, driven and experienced Civil Project Supervisor. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and assists in coordinating site activities and liaising with internal labour resources, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. The Civil Project Supervisor ensures various tasks are carried out in line with site requirements and in compliance with all relevant legislation.
The Role Based in Northern NSW / South East QLD, the successful Civil Project Supervisor will manage civil, demolition and remediation projects. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team, in-house delivery resources, and interstate resources where required.
The Project Supervisor is expected to be present on-site during key milestones, particularly during project kick-off, and this will mean travelling to project sites - this is an essential requirement of the role.
The key role of the Project Supervisor is to identify and allocate appropriate resources to deliver simple, complex and large scale projects, from the pre-project planning phase to practical completion, in accordance with contract conditions and other stakeholder requirements. Incumbents are required to have the necessary skillset to identify and problem solve project issues to ensure that works conform to the appropriate standards and that they are completed on budget and within agreed timeframes. The applicant must demonstrate effective consultation and communication skills through regular engagement and the development of sound working relationships with project stakeholders.
Under the direction of the company Directors, the applicant will undertake a variety of duties which are expected to be delivered autonomously and prioritised according to business requirements.
The Civil Project Supervisor is expected to have a minimum of 8 years' industry experience and should hold sufficient competence and technical understanding within a specific discipline offered by the business (i.e., environmental sciences, chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering, corporate/strategic management and/or relevant specialised tradesperson).
