The OpportunityDelivering a range of significant civil engineering projects, you'll be involved in shaping civil infrastructure in the Northern Territory.

Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will typically include:Managing projects with support of a senior civil engineerManaging clients and other relationships to meet deliverablesFeasibility studies, conceptual & detail designs & engineering calcsProviding technical advice on pavement, stormwater, flood modelling, water / wastewater and ESCP designsManaging design and documentation to quality standardsDeveloping tenders incl technical specifications, quantities & estimatesPreparing design reports and undertake safety in design assessmentsLiaising with relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvalsUndertaking construction inspection and certification servicesProject forecasting and status reports for managementAssisting development of fee proposals for projectsCoaching junior engineering staffKey Skills & AttributesYour qualifications should include:EA recognised Degree in Civil Engineering, or similar5-10 + years exp in delivery of civil engineering projectsExp in roads, intersections, site works, subdiv.
& general civil worksExp.
in project management of civil design projectsTechnical expertise in Australian design standardsStrong in technical report writing, specs & bid/tender documentsAbility to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.The following (whilst not essential), will be considered favourably:
Relationships with local clients and authoritiesUnderstanding of local engineering standardsChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), or ability to obtain CPEngRegistered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC)Proficiency with AutoCAD and 12dWhat's on offerThis is an exceptional opportunity to develop your skills in the Northern Territory.
