OVERVIEW We are seeking a person who can fit the below description and become part of a growing business on the Sunshine Coast. The role involves working with various clients and being very competent in high level bookkeeping tasks and client communication. It could involve travel to conduct work at client locations, so you must have a valid QLD licence and vehicle.
LOCATION: Maroochydore office in the Sunshine Coast or client office if required
HOURS PER WEEK: Minimum of 20 hours per week to start that suit client needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to) Data entry in Xero/MYOB/QBOEntering invoices via Hubdoc and pushing through to Xero/QBOMatching bank feeds with AR invoices and AP paymentsAccounts Receivables & PayableEnsuring compliance with GST components of invoicesPayroll, STP lodgement and super paymentsReconciliation, preparation and lodgement of monthly IAS/BAS or quarterly BASUse XPM, Microsoft Office 365 suite and other platformsAttend networking events/meetings to promote businessAssist with document creations for HR and other admin tasksCANDIDATE Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholdersAble to multi-task and manage clients in various industriesHighly proficient in Microsoft and other platformsHighly motivated and self-drivenPassion for bookkeeping and numbersBubbly, energetic and enthusiasticAttention to detailExcellent organisational skillsWorks well in a team but can also use initiative and work autonomouslyTech savy and willing to learn new systems that suit the roleAbility to see the big picture whilst maintaining focus on the detailThrive on change and a fast-paced environmentEXPERIENCE Bookkeeping/Accounting Industry experience and qualifications (or working towards)Will have extensive knowledge of ATO, Fair Work and other statutory bodies Excellent data entry ability with speed and accuracyProficient with Xero, MYOB, QBO and HubdocComprehensive understanding of payroll, STP categories and superannuation If this is ticking all of your boxes, creating excitement about the possible new challenges and you wish to broaden your horizons, then this position could be for you!
