Experienced and Passionate Head Chef Required for Busy French Brasserie

Hey Jupiter Brasserie Française, located in the East End, is searching for a passionate Head Chef, experienced in classical French cuisine, to work with us in our successful venue offering the best of European hospitality and dining culture.We are offering a full-time, permanent role for someone looking for a long-term position.
Along with a competitive salary, you will have access to incentives and bonus schemes as well as potential business shares, in time, for the right person.We are looking for someone to really take the reins of the kitchen and bring their own passion and flavor whilst remaining in the French bistro/brasserie framework.We are open 7 days a week for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesWork and improve the current menu and develop a changing roster of daily specials within the cuisine guidelines.
Have a strong understanding of the restaurant's mission and curate all flavors, presentation, and dishes around that.Responsible for all staff management, training, and development.
Work to build a well-oiled machine of a team.Ability to work to strict budgets and manage food and wage costs.Maintain the highest level of food safety and hygiene practices along with being responsible for kitchen equipment maintenance and repair.Be committed to working with management to increase revenue and take the establishment to the next level.Skills and ExperienceYou must:Have extensive experience heading a successful kitchen and proven ability to maintain strict budgets.
Minimum 3 years Full-Time Head Chef experience running a busy brasserie-style restaurant open Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner 7 days a week.
Diploma level qualifications or international equivalent.Be hands-on.
Must be prepared to work weekends and nights and place equal importance on all services from Breakfast through to Dinner.Have experience working in France or French restaurants.Be 100 percent focused on flavor, quality, and consistency at all times.Exhibit your passion for food and be reliable, hardworking, and highly motivated.
