To help us achieve this we are now looking for an Experience Design Lead to join our team on a six month parental contract. About the role Reporting to the Customer Experience Design and Strategy Manager, as the Experience Design Lead you'll lead research and design activities to understand user needs and create both digital and physical experiences to enhance the experience of Australian Open patrons and fans. In this role you will: Evolve the AO experience leveraging human-centred design methodology to craft iconic, customer-led, personalised and accessible experiences to address our key customer segments. Lead research and design activities to understand user needs and create both digital and physical experiences that boost fan engagement and satisfaction. Collaborate with teams such as Product, Marketing, and Ticketing, advocating for customer-centric processes, and using design thinking methodologies to address and simplify complex challenges. Design solutions that will enhance the customer journey while aligning with business objectives and contributing to revenue growth. Plan, organise and facilitate workshops, scoping sessions, and other group activities with internal and external stakeholders. Human Centred Design thinking and stakeholder engagement, advocating across the organisation. About you What you will bring to the role: Significant experience (5+ years) in UX Research, Service Design, or UX Design with a strong research focus. Demonstrated experience utilising Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (desirable) Expertise and confidence in workshop facilitation and design walk-throughs with a variety of stakeholders, communicating design rationale clearly and effectively. Strong stakeholder management and professional business demeanour; demonstrating patience, ability to negotiate effectively within/outside of the organisation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven exposure to Agile, Lean and how design thinking works using these methodologies. You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
