Expeditor for Gold Mining Company - Immediate Start - Based Perth CBDDutiesExpeditor required an immediate start for this mining company.Coordinate order processing activity of parts to mine sites in Western Australia.Optimise surplus inventory and utilise inbound stock orders to fulfil emergency customer requirements.Routinely review all order lead-time and pursue expediting all orders to maintain order lead-time compliance and to meet customers' requirements.Monitor and control back orders through to delivery.Prevent unnecessary emergency purchasing by utilising current stock and incoming shipments.Provide updates to lead times and upgrade requests.Experience And Skills RequiredExperience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction industry.Understanding of parts operations, logistics and freight systemsCustomer focus and the ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholdersHighly developed communication skills - written and verbalProblem-solving and lateral thinking abilityOrganised and with attention to detailExcellent systems knowledge (SAP would be ideal).What You Need To Do NowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Please click here to apply.
