Details: The Exhibits and Family Liaison Officer is responsible for the coordination and management of WorkSafe ACT exhibits, property, and liaison with relevant parties.
The Exhibits and Family Liaison Officer is also responsible for the implementation of a 'best practice' framework for the handling of all exhibits and property in accordance with legislative requirements.
The Exhibits and Family Liaison Officer is an important member of the Legal Policy and Investigations team and will aid in the planning of investigations and the appropriate collection and management of evidence.
With direction the Exhibits and Family Liaison Officer will also identify non-compliance issues with the collection and storage of evidence and is responsible for systems to maintain continuity of evidence.
The Exhibits and Family Liaison Officer also plays an important role coordinating WorkSafe ACT's contact with the families of those who have suffered a workplace death or serious injury, including connecting these families with support services and assistance navigating the legal system.The ACT Public Service supports workforce diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.

This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW).
Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
