We are excited to add to our highly skilled team and continue to make a true and meaningful impact on our community.About the RoleTo help execute our vision of delivering high quality and accessible art experiences, we are seeking casual Exhibition Support Officers to join the MRAG team. Exhibition Support Officers work closely with the Curatorial team to prepare and de/install a diverse range of artworks and exhibitions.This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of artists and artistic practice whilst contributing to the core operations of the Art Gallery.We are open to a broad range of skills, and open to applications from people who have backgrounds in:Building, carpentry, and constructionVisual and audio installationExperience installing small to large scale exhibitionsThis is a casual opportunity, offering an hourly pay rate of $33.6259 + 25% casual loading + super.If you are passionate about helping to create a visually appealing space that connects with our community and helps foster curiosity amongst our visitors, then this is the role for you! You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or be undertaking a relevant degree, coupled with contemporary industry knowledge and demonstrated experience in an Art Gallery or Museum, installing and de-installing exhibitions.
