THE COMPANY:Our client is a nationwide, market-leading organisation with over 20 years of experience delivering retail and design solutions to the Australian market.Their premium range of products and partner products are beautifully showcased in stunning multi-award-winning exhibition space, and they continue to go from strength to strength as they focus on innovation, new products, new regions, and new concepts.In line with recent and continued success, they have opened an exciting new state-of-the-art 2000sqm exhibition space that will showcase, on an ongoing basis, the latest in affiliated industry supplier products and services to complement their own range and deliver seamless end-to-end product and design solutions under one roof.They are now looking for an outstanding Exhibition Sales Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and sales function of this incredible new space.THE ROLE:Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Exhibition Showroom Manager will manage the exhibition team and drive overall sales, operations, and customer experience across the function.Key Responsibilities:Liaise with exhibitors to secure them into space, ensuring product displays are up to standard and promoting sales.Oversee the exhibitor partner area of the showroom, managing and recruiting new and existing exhibitor relationships, and coordinating the space effectively.Manage the team, which will include 3-5 staff members.Ensure the new exhibition space is ready by April, overseeing setup and operations.Responsible for achieving revenue targets of the business.Hire and manage the team within the exhibitor showroom (direct reports).Interact with potential customers, guiding them to the right exhibitors and assisting with inquiries.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Our highly regarded national client is looking for an experienced Exhibition Sales Manager, MICE Sales Manager, (large) Showroom Manager, Facilities Sales or Facilities Operations Manager.
They will also consider Sales Managers from big box retail such as IKEA or Bunnings.Ideal Profile:Experience in managing an exhibition space (or seminar rooms, conference rooms, facilities, etc.
