About the role As an Exhibition Designer, you will be responsible for planning temporary, permanent and touring exhibitions, including concepts, design development, specifications and documentation for build and tendering purposes, as well as arranging quotes and procurement of approved services and project administration. You will also collaborate with stakeholders including external creatives and designers engaged for specific exhibition projects.
What you'll bring to the role A tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in Exhibition Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or allied field.Proven ability in delivering high-quality exhibitions at various scales, including digital, interactive, and online elements.Production of documentation for graphics delivery including an in-depth understanding of print production for a wide range of graphic outputs.Proficiency in using industry-standard design software applications including ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.Experience in design and documentation of exhibition projects (temporary and permanent) within an art gallery, museum or similar environment is highly desirable.What we offer Full-time ongoing Grade 3.1 role, with a starting salary of $74,580 plus super.A talented, committed and creative team of people with a passion for screen culture, technology and media, cultural diversity, and inspiring new forms of creativity in our communities.Flexible working, including a mix of onsite and work from home days depending on your role.How to apply To obtain a position description and apply online, visit ACMI Careers.
