We are seeking an Exhibition Designer to join the EES team!
With our client base growing we are looking for a fulltime position for an experienced Exhibition Designer to join the Green Team to create new and exciting stands for our larger exhibitions from early 2025. EES is a rapidly expanding Exhibitions and Events business, servicing clients across Australia, with a rapid expansion no two days are the same and this role is perfect for that person looking at establishing themselves in the Exhibition industry and bringing a creative head and personality to continue the growth of the business.
You will be responsible for drafting and refining floorplans and 3D designs as we expand our exhibition products, collaborating with the Sales and Account Managers to design quality, unique, and modern products to help establish our company as an innovator in the exhibitions industry. You do have to report to the Operations Manager, but he is ok and the owner of the business so you will have the opportunity to make change and be creative!

Responsibilities An Exhibition Designer with our company holds several important responsibilities:
Develop working relationships with account managers, design teams and exhibitor services staff, facilitate collaboration and communication, new exhibition builds, floorplans and create exciting products from clients' briefs. Collaborate with product development and sales teams to identify target audiences, quality objectives, product goals, and timelinesUse digital design software to create initial mockups and technical drawings based on concepts and specifications, current suite is Autodesk AutoCAD 2005Review all designs prior to submission to ensure quality control and industry complianceIncorporate feedback and revise CAD drawings as necessaryWork on other CAD design projects as well as support the Pre-press team with artwork proofs and rendering when required Job qualifications and skill sets Our ideal CAD designer will have the following skills and qualifications:
A minimum of an; bachelor's degree in mechanical drawing, engineering, or a relevant on job experience in a similar field is preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience preparing CAD drawings based on architectural concepts, floorplans, and layoutsExperience with Autodesk Autocad, Creative Suite, and 3D software (currently using Substance 3D Stager)Excellent communication skills and the willingness to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and senior managersExperience reading and understanding architectural, and mechanical drawingsHas an honest sense of sustainability and willingness to explore alternative substrates that remove the use of single use materials.
