You will have the support of a strong, close team of healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.This opportunity as a Rehabilitation Consultant includes exposure to delivering some of IPAR's innovative services, including our pain education Re-thinking Recovery program, which uses virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and retrain their brain and body.Duties of the role include:Case management (manageable caseloads with support from Rehabilitation Assistants);Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals;Completing various assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations and Ergonomic Assessments;Delivering our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery.You'll be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualifications:Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology, registration with ESSA and SIRA Accreditation;Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded;Excellent communication skills;Compassion and empathy;Well-developed time management skills;A current NSW Driver's License and access to a car with comprehensive insurance.Our core values are at the heart of our work:We act with integrity.
