Raintree Allied Health is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist for a fixed term contract position (approx.
6 months) covering maternity leave, commencing mid-late January 2025.
This position is located in our Yarrawonga based clinic with the possibility of delivering outreach services to several remote Indigenous communities across the Top End.

Deliver exercise physiology services across a wide range clinical areas and health conditions by integrating evidence-based practice as part of treatment.
Design, prescribe and supervise exercise-based rehabilitation.
Assess the efficiency of treatment plans, modify and refer accordingly.
Accurately and thoroughly document client information as per medico-legal requirements.
Follow all requirements as outlined in the Northern Territory Primary Health Network (NTPHN) Outreach Health Services Program (OHSP) 'Operational Guidelines' Deliver individual and group based chronic disease exercise physiology services across remote communities of the Northern Territory.
Is this the right role for you?
Tertiary level Exercise Physiology qualification and current registration with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) Several years' experience in clinical Exercise Physiology.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of working with clients to achieve social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
Superior client care skills that reflect a professional but friendly approach to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people.
Ability to analyse and utilise clinical data in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Accomplished written skills to competently prepare documents or reports as required.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organisational skills demonstrated by the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
Possess high level of problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions as per standard operating procedures.
COVID and Flu vaccinations.
National police check, First Aid & CPR certificate, WWC check, NDIS worker screening check & current driver's licence.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
