MHS in Port Fairy invites applications from qualified Exercise Physiologists to join the Allied Health team on a Part Time or Full Time basis.
About the Role This role is being offered on a Part Time or Full Time basis, depending on the successful candidate's preference.
The Exercise Physiologist works in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team to provide comprehensive assessment and targeted intervention that contributes to improving clients' health and wellbeing.
The role involves the delivery of individual or group programs within the Gym, Residential Aged Care, or in the Community setting. The programs assist clients to work towards their exercise and rehabilitation goals.
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for the staff and clients within the gym or relevant setting, ensuring equipment is maintained and used appropriately.
About You Minimum Qualifications: Tertiary Qualifications in Exercise Physiology Key Selection Criteria: Eligibility for membership to the relevant accrediting body (ESSA) Knowledge of chronic and age-related conditions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a timely and effective manner Knowledge and ability to work with a range of clients with complex health needs Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team About Us Moyne Health Services is a public, not-for-profit, integrated healthcare service that helps meet community healthcare needs in Port Fairy and surrounding districts in the Moyne Shire.
