Details: Wanniassa School is seeking a dynamic and motivated executive teacher to join our Student Services Team (Senior Campus Yr 7-10). This position is one of two SLC roles that leads student wellbeing and PBL.
As a member of the school executive team, support the principal to lead the school as a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to improve learning outcomes for all students in accordance with the School Plan.Co-Lead the Student Services team. Develop and implement our Wellbeing curriculum, pedagogy and assessment strategies that engage all learners.Support staff to establish and maintain positive and respectful relationships with students, parents and stakeholder groups in the wider community.Undertake an appropriate teaching load and other duties as determined by the Principal.Eligibility/Other Requirements: Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
