Then this might be the opportunity for you.The ACT Health Directorate Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) Implementation Taskforce is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can hit the ground running.The ACT Government is strengthening end of life healthcare and options for Canberrans.
Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) legislation passed on 5 June 2024, with eligible Canberrans able to access VAD services by 3 November 2025.The VAD Implementation Taskforce is playing an integral leadership role in this initiative, leading the implementation of VAD in the ACT.The Executive Support/Project Officer will have a key role in supporting the Ageing and End of Life Branch, including voluntary assisted dying implementation project by (but not limited to) providing executive support functions, coordinating, and preparing briefing and written advice, providing secretariat support to implementation working groups.The incumbent will communicate professionally and work with flexibility and efficiency, both individually and as part of the team.The ACT Public Service supports workforce diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
